Collection and use of your data
The scope and type of collection and use of your personal data differs depending on whether you are only visiting our website to retrieve information or whether you are using any of the services we may offer. If we use other (IT) service providers for individual functions of our offer or would like to use your data for advertising purposes, we shall inform you in detail below about the respective processes (all data processing). We also state the specified criteria for the storage period and the applicable legal basis for data processing.
Informational use
For the informational use of our websites, we only collect the personal data that your browser automatically transmits to us, such as:

The storage duration for these data (logs) is 30 days.
Legal basis of data processing:
The above data are technically required to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security, in accordance with Article 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Applications
We process the data that you have sent us in connection with your application in order to check your suitability for the position (or other vacancies, if applicable) and to carry out the application process.
Upon receipt, your application will be reviewed by the central Human Resources department. Suitable applications will then be forwarded to the Management, Head of department, area, etc. responsible for your position in one of the companies in our group of companies. The further process will then be coordinated. Within the entire group of companies, only those persons have access to your data who need them for the proper running of our application process.
Commissioned service providers:
We have not commissioned any service providers to provide support for carrying out the application process. Your data can therefore only be viewed by the IT service providers commissioned by us if necessary and of course only to the required extent.
Storage duration:
Applicant data will be deleted after 6 months in the event of a rejection.
In the event that you have consented to further storage of your personal data, we shall include your data in our applicant pool. The data will be deleted there after 2 years.
If you have been awarded a position as part of the application process, your data will be transferred to our personnel information system.
Legal basis of data processing:
The processing of your data as part of the application process is permitted for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship, in accordance with § 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
If the data are required for legal prosecution after the application process has been completed, data processing can be carried out to protect legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our interest then lies in the assertion or defence of claims.
The transfer of your data to the company in our group of companies responsible for your position is in the interest of the respective company to view your application and to carry out the application process, in accordance with Article 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Inquiries by email, post or telephone
If you contact us by email, post or telephone, your request and the personal data it contains will be processed by the authorised persons for the purpose of processing your request.
Storage duration:
We process and store the data until the purpose of the processing has been fulfilled and there are no legal storage obligations (usually 10 years of storage) or you have effectively objected to the processing.
Legal basis of data processing:
Your data will be processed on the basis of Article 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your request is related to the fulfilment of a contract or the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing takes place on the basis of Article 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in processing inquiries.
